TEAM STATS

Notes:
-Svechnikov recorded the first postseason hat trick in franchise history.
-Mrazek made a couple of nice glove saves.
-Carolina looked like the better team again – defense strong as always, preventing NY from creating opportunities in the neutral zone.
-New York looks like they’re making the same mistakes: dumping the puck, silly turnovers, bunching up in their zone.
-Panarin is starting to get his wheels back after a slow start in Game 1.
-Kakko created some chances and wasn’t afraid to skate to the net. He has been playing better hockey in the past week than he has before the break.
-Shesterkin sitting out again. (However, the issue isn’t Lundqvist; the issue lies with their D – see bullet 4)
